Last year Vator and Bullpen hosted Venture Shift in both SF and NYC. Given the reception and the rapidally chaning dynamics of the venture business we have decide to do Venture Shift 2012. It’s truly amazing how much has changed during this past one year.

The disruption of the venture business is accelerating, and the options for funding are expanding. In the last few years, incubators and accelerators have come into vogue, providing a new source of funding for an ever-increasing pool of start-ups. At the same time, yesterday’s successful multi-millionaire entrepreneurs have become today’s angels and the JOBS Act is expected to open the floodgates to even more capital next year.
The emergence of these new players comes despite a decade of abysmal returns across the venture industry that has driven many VC funds out of business. Once again, we’ll take a look at the profound changes happening across the venture landscape.
